Robb Elementary School in Uvalde, Texas – The mayor of Uvalde, Texas, has announced that the School, where a gunman massacred 19 pupils and two teachers, will be demolished.
Don McLaughlin was accused during a heated and emotional council meeting on Tuesday when citizens demanded answers about the incident.

Since the May rampage, public outrage has grown, with police accused of waiting more than an hour to engage the offender.
“My understanding is that the School will be demolished, and I discussed this with the superintendent. You should never ask a child or a teacher to return to that school, “McLaughlin stated.
Robb Elementary contains about 600 second, third, and fourth-grade students.
State Senator Roland Gutierrez informed local media last month that US President Joe Biden had suggested demolishing the institution.
Robb Elementary School will not be the first to be razed following a horrific shooting. Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, was destroyed in 2012 when 20 students and six staff members were shot. On the same plot of land, a new school was built.
The Texas Department of Public Safety announced on Tuesday that there were enough cops on the scene in Uvalde to apprehend the gunman three minutes after he entered the facility. However, officers waited for more than an hour outside classrooms before entering.
Steven McCraw testified before the state Senate that the police response was an “abject disaster,” accusing the on-scene commander of putting officers’ safety ahead of the children’s.
The attack by an 18-year-old named Salvador Ramos has reignited a national debate about gun control.
